My name is Oliver Guan and I am currently studying Bachelor of Design in Architecture (Honours) / Master of Architecture, 2018 - Current (expected end date is 2022), at USYD. I have successfully completed the Bachelor program.
I am a diligent and passionate aspiring architect, who always pushes myself by constantly revising and improving my design after feedback. Furthermore, I have a sense of responsibility for my designs as I always strive to produce the best quality drawings and models for representation. I am an outgoing and enthusiastic person who is eager to learn in new environments. I work competently in teams and thrive off the interaction.
My interest in architecture stems from sustainability, and the connection between the natural and the built environment. Sustainability is becoming more influential with the issue of global warming. As architects, we have a responsibility to reduce our buildings' impact on the natural habitat. The incorporation of passive design principles and user comfort are pivotal when designing with and for users.
